Do you enjoy showing off our beautiful country to friends and relatives? If you truly love Scotland and Scottish history, then this could be the dream role for you!

Working out of either Edinburgh, Glasgow or Inverness, each day brings something different, as you deliver the history of Scotland to tourists from all over the world.  Whilst driving up to Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, Loch Lomond and many more destinations, it will be your job to bring the history of Scotland to life.

Aside from a knowledge and passion for Scotland and its history, we look for outgoing, friendly and helpful people, who genuinely enjoy working with members of the public. 

Flexible hours? No problem. We recruit for a wide variety of roles; full-time, part-time and also ad-hoc Driver-Guides. Perfect if you're looking for a second profession!

Preference will be shown to applicants who hold a D or D1 licence, however training will be provided through the Timberbush Driver Training Scheme to those who meet the above criteria.

PSV Mechanic

We’re looking for an enthusiastic PSV Mechanic to join our workshop in Granton, Edinburgh. You will play a key role within our small workshop team helping establish and develop our workshop capabilities. Our workshop provides support to our fleet for non-warrantied general repairs, maintenance and routine inspections. We also cater for a limited volume of 3rd party inspection and repairs.

You would work closely with the transport management team and workshop colleagues to coordinate routine inspections, repairs and workflow to minimise vehicle downtime. You will be outgoing, flexible, adaptable and able to use your initiative to overcome issues arising.

You will be a fully qualified skilled technician/mechanic, with knowledge and minimum 5 years’ experience of periodic inspection and repair of PSV/HGV vehicles. Dealing with a full range of systems, your role would include the diagnosis of faults, repairs, servicing and periodic inspections.
