Salary: Up to £26,000.00 /year OTE

Due to ongoing growth, Timberbush Tours are seeking talented and customer-focussed Driver-Guides for our Edinburgh and Glasgow departures. At Timberbush Tours, we offer 1-4 day tours of Scotland and Northern England, in addition to a growing Private and Corporate Hire Department. We own our own fleet of modern, Mercedes Benz and MAN vehicles ranging from 8-47 seats and have a fantastic team of staff just waiting for you to join us!
Our Driver-Guides are the best in the industry, and being Investors in People Accredited, we invest in our staff to ensure they create truly memorable experiences for our customers from both the UK and overseas.
Who are we looking for?
Keen, responsible and customer-focussed individuals
Excellent driving skills; experience working with coaches from 8-47 seats desirable
A love of Scotland and an in-depth knowledge of Scottish history
An outgoing, confident, ‘can do’ personality
Conducting tours throughout Scotland and Northern England on PCV Vehicles
Demonstrate excellent customer service
To be adaptable to the needs of the business – no day in the Tourism Industry is the same!
To work well individually and as part of an enthusiastic team
Essential / Desirable Qualities
Applicants must hold a current UK or European Manual D Class Driving License and be eligible to operate a PCV, including a current CPC & Digital Driver Card.
Consideration will be given to those who are able to drive but do not currently hold this licence, but fit the above qualities and have a willingness to undergo our training scheme.
Salary and Benefits
- D licence Driver-Guide: £9.98 p/h (Scheduled to increase April 2018)
- D1 licence Driver-Guide: £9.48 p/h (Scheduled to increase April 2018)
- 28 days holiday entitlement (FTE)
