At Timberbush, we're aware the Coronavirus will be affecting a lot of peoples' day-to-day lives and travelling arrangements. 

Scotland is still open for business, and with so many exciting tours to choose from, we would love to take you on an adventure! 

We understand you may be hesitant about taking a tour. Rest assured we're constantly evaluating the situation and following the latest advice from the Government. We're doing everything we can to make our tours as safe and enjoyable as possible. Please check with your government for the latest travel advice, as this can change on a regular basis. We've relaxed our Cancellation Policy to offer greater flexibility to our customers. We've also upgraded our cleaning procedures and reduced our coach sizes to offer responsible touring in the current climate. You can find out more below:

Cancellation Policy

Your well-being should be your priority. If you can't or don't want to travel right now - then you shouldn't have to worry about your money. We've relaxed our Cancellation Policy to make it easier to get a refund.

For 1 day tours, we now offer a full refund up to 24 hours in advance, and a gift card for those who cancel less than 24 hours notice. For extended tours, a full refund will be given for cancellations made more than 7 days before the tour departure.

We hope this makes it easier for you to reschedule your travelling plans for the near future.

If you would like to postpone your trip, simply contact our Reservations Team and they’ll be happy to reschedule your booking for a later date.



Cleaning Procedures

To minimise the spread of the Coronavirus, hands should be washed and surfaces cleaned on a regular basis.

Our Driver-Guides are washing their hands more frequently and using anti-bacterial hand sanitiser whenever possible. When on tour, we strongly recommend you do the same to prevent the spread of the virus.

Our coaches are thoroughly deep-cleaned everyday by professional cleaners. Special attention is paid to high-contact areas, such as handles and railings.



Coach Size Reduction

We’ve reduced our coach size for our tours from 53 seaters down to 32 seaters or less.

Timberbush Tours is an eco-conscious business. With sudden cancellations on some of our tours, this has left empty seats on our coaches, which is not fuel efficient and detrimental to the environment. By reducing our coach sizes, we can provide a much greener service.

We’re also aware some individuals may feel uneasy travelling in larger groups during the Coronavirus outbreak. Our smaller coaches will reduce the potential of spreading the virus and hopefully ease any concerns.

If you want to travel with a small group of friends or family, a Private Tour may be a suitable alternative. An experienced Driver-Guide will take you on your custom tour in your very own modern coach.
