Timberbush Tours and The Famous Grouse Experience are delighted to continue their successful partnership formed in 2008. Both organisations were nominated as finalists in the Scottish Thistle Awards for 'Collaboration' in Autumn 2008.                  

This year we are celebrating our mutual support of the conservation work of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) with a new, limited edition tour option, 'Tours on the Moors.'                                    

On Highland Lochs, Glens & Whisky tours from Edinburgh and Glasgow visitors can enjoy a unique, limited edition wildlife tour experience exclusively with Timberbush Tours.

The 'Tours on the Moors' option is available on Tuesday whisky tours from Edinburgh and Wednesday whisky tours from Glasgow between April and September.

Make a special visit with your Timberbush and RSPB resident guide off the beaten track by coach up to Loch Turret and the Boathouse, surrounded by the grouse moors behind the distillery. This environment is home to the endangered black grouse and 'famous' red grouse and other spectacular wildlife, as well as possessing beautiful views over the loch.

Learn some weird and wonderful facts about the birds and how the RSPB is working to protect them,  and look for the birds using telescopes and binoculars, whilst enjoying the beauty of the natural surroundings on the Glenturret Estate. 

The tours are free but a donation to the RSPB is requested.
