DAY 1
Depart GLASGOW and head West to the HIGHLANDS, first stopping at the beautiful conservation village of LUSS, situated on the "Bonnie, Bonnie Banks" of LOCH LOMOND, then on to RANNOCH MOOR and the BLACK MOUNT, to awesome, tragic GLENCOE.
You can walk in GLENCOE, a valley well-known for its bloody history - before continuing North towards FORT WILLIAM, nestling in the shadow of Scotland's tallest mountain, BEN NEVIS. INVERNESS, capital of the Highlands, is our overnight stop.
DAY 2
Our journey from INVERNESS takes us first to the emotionally charged CULLODEN BATTLEFIELD, followed by the ancient NEOLITHIC CLAVA CAIRNS, and then 'A TOUR AND A TASTE' of some good Scottish malt whisky at TOMATIN DISTILLERY.
The scenic splendour of THE ROTHIEMURCHUS ESTATE is immediately followed by RUTHVEN BARRACKS and THE HIGHLAND FOLK MUSEUM. Then it's THE HERMITAGE and romantic OSSIAN'S HALL before we end our epic journey, passing the imposing STIRLING CASTLE on our return.
