Crieff is the second largest town in Perthshire, located on the southern edge of the Highlands.
The first Crieff Highland Gathering took place in 1870. Every year, apart from the colourful spectacles of Highland dancing, pipe bands, and competitions including tossing the caber and weights, the Crieff Gathering always has a "Special Attraction", and we're sure this year, the 125th year, will be no exception.
The Gathering takes place in Market Park and some of its previous famous Chieftains include world-famous actor Ewan MacGregor. The day's events include a mix of field events, Highland dancing, pipe band and bagpipe competitions.
